The picture above shows my bedroom in Italy 🇮🇹
At first glance it might look like an ordinary room, but for me it is much more than that. Every object you see there represents a small piece of my story and something that helped shape who I am today.
The aircraft models ✈️ reflect a long-standing fascination with aviation and the industry itself. It is a world I eventually became part of professionally, and one that I am still connected to today (you will find more about that in my CV).
The books 📚 represent curiosity and continuous learning. Some of them are the very same books I used during university, while others helped me prepare for professional certifications in IT and cybersecurity. They remind me that learning never really stops!
The flags 🌍 bring back memories of the places I have travelled to and the cultures I experienced along the way.
On the shelf you can also spot two cruise ship models 🚢 representing the ships I worked on, which gave me the incredible opportunity to travel across many countries (you can find more about this in my CV).
The seashells 🐚 symbolise my love for the sea and for Sardinia, while some souvenirs remind me of the cities I visited during those journeys. Travelling has played a big role in shaping my perspective, making me more open-minded, curious, and appreciative of different cultures and ways of thinking.
Even the small fantasy figures 🦸♂️ reflect something meaningful. They represent imagination, creativity, and my love for superhero movies and cinema in general. Stories, characters, and worlds built through imagination have always inspired me.
Long before working in IT and later in Information Security 💻🔐, I was simply someone fascinated by how things worked. I loved exploring ideas, understanding systems, and discovering the technology behind everyday things.
Looking back, it is quite incredible how many of those early passions eventually became part of my professional life.
In many ways, the person I am today started right here! ✨
